離心風機是根據(jù)動能轉(zhuǎn)換為勢能的原理,利用高速旋轉(zhuǎn)的葉輪將氣體加速,然后減速、改變流向,使動能轉(zhuǎn)換成勢能(壓力)。在單級離心風機中,氣體從軸向進入葉輪,氣體流經(jīng)葉輪時改變成徑向,然后進入擴壓器。

對離心風機設計的要求大都是:滿足所需流量和壓力的工況點應在率點附近;率值要盡量大一些,效率曲線平坦;壓力曲線的穩(wěn)定工作區(qū)間要寬;風機結(jié)構(gòu)簡單,工藝性好;材料及附件選擇方便;有足夠的強度、剛度,工作可靠;運轉(zhuǎn)穩(wěn)定,噪聲低;調(diào)節(jié)性能好,工作適應性強;風機尺寸盡可能小,重量輕;操作和維護方便,拆裝運輸簡單易行。
